Senior Vice President,
Clinical Affairs
Dr. Swiedler joined BioMarin in June 1998, and currently
serves as senior vice president of clinical affairs.
Prior to BioMarin, Dr. Swiedler served as vice president
of research programs at Glycomed. He is board-certified
in anatomic pathology and has conducted extensive
research in the molecular biology of carbohydrate
enzymes. Dr. Swiedler holds five patents and is
the author of 20 peer-reviewed journal articles.
He earned a B.S. from the State University of New
York at Albany, an M.D. from the Johns Hopkins School
of Medicine, and a Ph.D. from the Johns Hopkins
University School of Medicine, Biochemistry, Cellular,
and Molecular Biology training program. |
