Steven Jungles |

Supply Chain
Mr. Jungles joined BioMarin in June 1999 and currently
serves as vice president of supply chain. His responsibilities
include oversight of planning, warehousing, manufacturing
support, contract manufacturing and distribution
functions for the company's clinical and commercial
products. Prior to coming to BioMarin, Mr. Jungles
served as Associate Director of Manufacturing and
Operations at the Harvard Gene Therapy Initiative,
where he was responsible for the clinical manufacturing
of recombinant viral vectors and the supervision
of Manufacturing, Quality Control, Quality Assurance,
Operations and support staff. From 1993 to 1997,
Mr. Jungles acted as manager of process development
and clinical production at Somatix Therapy Corporation
and oversaw process development and large scale
cGMP production of cellular vaccines. Earlier in
his career, he was involved in process development-related
positions at Hygeia Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and the
Hyland Division of Baxter. Mr. Jungles received
a B.S. in Biology from the University of Iowa and
holds a California State Board of Pharmacy Exemptee
Certificate for the manufacture of dangerous drugs. |
